Number of Persons Employed
The average number of persons employed (as measured by the Household Survey) in Yuba County increased 0.5% (117 persons) in 2012, less than the 1.4% (325 persons) increase in 2011. The forecast for 2013, based on actual data through December, 2012, is a similar increase of 0.8% (180 persons).

Unemployment
The average annual Unemployment Rate for Yuba County in 2012`declined to 16.9%, down from 18.1% in 2011. The forecast for 2013, based on actual data through December, 2012, is for an increase to 17.6%.

Taxable Sales
Taxable Sales from all Outlets in Yuba County increased 1.3% to $433.7 million in 2010, after declining 16.8% in 2009. The forecast for 2011, based on actual data through the 3rd quarter of 2011, is for a 11.0% ($47.7 million) increase, followed by a smaller 5.7% increase in 2012 and a 5.7% increase in 2013.
