| 31Janl3: Taxable sales, for all outlets, declined another 2.5% ($9.1 million) in 2010, after dropping 15.2% ($65.3 million) in 2009, after dropping 12.9% ($63.4 million) in 2008. Sales have declined from a high of $491.7 million in 2007 to $353.9 million in 2010, an amount below the 2000 level of taxble sales for the county. The forecast for 2011, based on actual results through the 3rd quarter of 2011, is for a much improved 5.6% ($19.7 million) increase, followed by an smaller increase of 2.5% ($9.5 million) in both 2012 and 2013. |
