Employment
The number of jobs in Glenn County increased 0.11% (8 jobs) in 2012, up from a decreased 0.78% (61 jobs) in 2011. The forecast for 2013, based on actual data through December, 2012, calls for another increase of 0.13% (10 jobs).

Unemployment
The annual average Unemployment Rate in Glenn County in 2012 was 14.7%, down over a percentage point from 2011's 15.8%. The forecast for 2013, based on actual data through December, 2012, is for a higher 15.3%.

Taxable Sales
After three years of declining Taxable Sales, the results for 2010 from all Outlets in Glenn County showed an increase of 2.55% to a total sales of $277.7 million. The forecast for 2011, based on actual data through the 3rd quarter of 2011, is a larger 9.7% increase, followed by a 2.3% increase in 2012 and a similar 2.3% increase in 2013.
